Athletic Director
Assist in the day-to-day operations of athletic facilities and event management.Tennessee Tech is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
Assists with the day-to-day operations of athletic facilities and event management. Assists in game management of all 14 sports including venue set up, public safety, equipment set up and operation, and coordination of game operations staff. Assists in administrative duties with motor pool, ground maintenance, and facilities projects. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Knowledge of facility management including maintenance and event scheduling, safety and security, and special set-up of a variety of athletic activities. Ability to lift and carry heavy items and work in various weather conditions. Ability to work nights and weekends. Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of constituents. Effective time management skills. Commitment to adhere to NCAA, OVC, and TTU policies and procedures. Philosophy must complement the philosophy of the Tennessee Tech Department of Athletics.
Experience in Division I intercollegiate athletics facilities and events management. TTU experience in facilities and events management. Experience using equipment such as forklifts, mowers, sound equipment, etc. Turf management experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Commensurate with education and experience; Administrative Pay Grade AD42.
