Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans ensuring goals and objectives are met in sales, revenue generation, game attendance, and fan atmosphere for an individual sport or sports and special events surrounding Utah athletic events.

Maintains and creates all facets of strategic marketing campaigns including digital timeline, graphical look and feel, oversees operational budgets, promotional game operations, pre-game and in-game entertainment and brand consistency. Work in conjunction with communications and digital and creative media teams to create necessary content for targeted channels for assigned sports. Manage positive relationships within the department with coaching staffs and other members of the team to achieve strategic objectives. Work with community, groups and student organizations to increase attendance and engagement. Assist on marketing and promotional team for Football. Assist with special projects and facility branding as necessary. Other duties as assigned by the Associate AD for Marketing and Fan Experience.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus one year directly related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
EQUIVALENCY
STATEMENT
: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience. (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience.)
Must have working knowledge and experience with InDesign, Photoshop, and graphic design. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.

Master’s degree preferred.
