Assist in variety of positions on live broadcasts on ESPN family of networks
Build rundowns, storylines, and production elements
Direct live events, managing camera shots, pacing, and storytelling
Operate video switchers for live productions on ESPN+ and linear feeds
Operate EVS replay systems for live streaming and broadcast
-Manage post-production assets such as broadcast melts, full-game records, press conferences, etc.
-Operate and manage XPressions graphics projects to ESPN standards
Assist in training and mentoring student production crew members across various roles
Provide hands-on instruction in control room operations, equipment use, and production workflows
Support a collaborative learning environment during live broadcasts and rehearsals
Participate in production meetings and planning sessions
Assist with setup, testing, and teardown of production equipment as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Production, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Entry-level experience or internships in live sports production preferred
Basic understanding of producing, directing, TD, and replay workflows
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with students
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including frequent nights, weekends, and holidays
Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree.

• Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure, certification, or registration required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the advertised description of the position of employment.
• Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with switchers (Ross, Grass Valley, etc.)
Experience operating replay systems in live production (EVS)
Knowledge of graphics systems (Xpression preferred)
Experience in a collegiate or student-driven production environment
Familiarity with ESPN production standards
