JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking a part-time Coordinator for Impact & Engagement to support the mission of Penn State Athletics and the Nittany360 program. This role will help design and deliver experiences that develop student-athletes as leaders, strengthen their sense of belonging, and connect their engagement to personal and professional growth.
Reporting to the Associate AD for Integrative Human Performance & Strategic Initiatives, this fellowship position will contribute to a holistic, integrated approach to student-athlete development, supporting community engagement, leadership development, and student-athlete experience initiatives.
The position is funded through the Big Ten Fellowship Program, designed to provide leadership development experience for emerging professionals interested in college athletics. The 2026–27 fellowship is a part-time role averaging 20–30 hours per week.

A high work ethic, positive attitude, and a growth mindset are required to be successful in this role. The ability to understand and work with diverse communities and populations, as well as the ability to foster and maintain working relationships with various athletic, University, and public constituencies are required.
This job is a part-time fellowship, working 20-30 hours per week. Evenings and weekends are required.
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
