The Coordinator for Strength and Conditioning is a full-time exempt staff position (12 month) which oversees the general operation and maintenance of the Athletics' weight room, along with enforcing safety procedures. The Coordinator for Strength and Conditioning will direct all strength and conditioning activities for the Department of Athletics which includes all in-season and out-of-season programs used by CMU student-athletes.

The Coordinator for Strength and Conditioning will direct all strength and conditioning activities for the Department of Athletics which includes all in-season and out-of-season programs used by CMU student-athletes.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
75% Strength and Conditioning Activities
10% Supervision of student workers and game day staff
10% Fiscal Management
5% Other
MANAGERIAL/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises a staff of student workers and graduate assistants in both office and game-day settings.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS :
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand walk, and sit for extensive periods.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Must be able to gain and maintain CMU driving approval. Weekends and evening work is required. Knowledge of NAIA and Heart of America Athletic Conference policies as they relate to the conduct of athletics, faculty, staff, and students.
