Performs semi-complex administrative and supervisory program work.
Creates visual content that will be used for both print, digital and in-venue applications. Responsibilities include working with the Communications and Marketing staffs to develop, maintain and advance the athletics department brand identity through its various printed and digital publications, which include, but are not limited to: social media channels, official athletics website, media guides, game programs, posters, tickets and newsletters. Works with various sports, communications and marketing staff to create digital content across a variety of platforms to advance the brand identity of the Sam Houston Department of Athletics. Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws. Ability to supervise business functions. Communicates with other University departments, personnel, and other agencies.Up to 20% of this position, over the fiscal year during off-peak periods, may be performed remotely as determined by the supervisor.
