The Coordinator, Intramural Sports and Program Coordinator for the UMBC Summer Day Camp will provide leadership, development and direction while assessing a comprehensive intramural sports program, specialty activities and events offered here at UMBC.
UMBC offers competitive compensation. This role starts at $49,000 and has over 4 weeks of vacation for regular full time roles. Tuition remission is also available.

The coordinator will develop and implement a comprehensive intramural sports program including establishing, implementing, and enforcing intramural program policies and procedures.
The coordinator will assist with development of the Recreation website and Leagues which pertains to Intramurals. The Coordinator will also act as the UMBC Summer Day Camp Program Coordinator, establishing camp programs, activities and equipment on a daily basis.
Specific responsibilities include:
Plan all events and develop a comprehensive program, which meets the needs of the campus community.
Develop and market events and programs to promote participation, which serves the entire campus community.
Develop a comprehensive Officials Training program for all program events.
Recruit, hire, train and evaluate intramural program supervisors, officials, and support staff.
Setting the weekly schedule for Summer Day Camp as well as forming developmentally appropriate activities for each age group.
Teach one Physical Education course each semester (Fall and Spring).
Bachelor's Degree & One year of Athletic/Recreation or relevant experience.

Salary: $49,000 - $55,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
