Position Summary:
The Coordinator of Athletic Facilities, Game Operations and Championships position will assist with event and facility operations in the Athletic Facilities, Game Operations and Championships department. The Coordinator of Athletic Facilities, Game Operations and Championships works closely with both internal and external constituents, including Duke University campus, Atlantic Coast Conference, and NCAA officials as well as Duke University Athletics coaches, staff, and guests.
Essential Functions:
· Under the management, assist with oversight of the following facilities and fields: 751 Fields, Cohan Fields, Murray Building / Scott Family Center, Koskinen, Kennedy Tower, Sheffield Center, and Ambler Stadium as well as East Campus facilities – Softball, Field Hockey and Haynes Field

Position Summary:
The Coordinator of Athletic Facilities, Game Operations and Championships position will assist with event and facility operations in the Athletic Facilities, Game Operations and Championships department. The Coordinator of Athletic Facilities, Game Operations and Championships works closely with both internal and external constituents, including Duke University campus, Atlantic Coast Conference, and NCAA officials as well as Duke University Athletics coaches, staff, and guests.
Essential Functions:
· Under the management, assist with oversight of the following facilities and fields: 751 Fields, Cohan Fields, Murray Building / Scott Family Center, Koskinen, Kennedy Tower, Sheffield Center, and Ambler Stadium as well as East Campus facilities – Softball, Field Hockey and Haynes Field
· Responsible for submission, scheduling, and oversight of EAM maintenance in assigned facilities.
· Responsible for walk-throughs to identify maintenance needs.
· Oversee Housekeeping, Landscape Services, and TROSA requests
· Manage practice schedules on EMS
· Women’s Basketball Game Day Facility Manager
o Assist with interior and/or exterior operations
· Football Game Day Facility Manager
o Assist with exterior operations
· Operational assistance for Women’s Basketball, ACC/NCAA Championships, Olympic Sports as assigned.
· Mentorship and development of student interns as assigned.
· Primary contact for scheduling, management, and distribution of schedules for Murray/Scott Conference Rooms, 751, Cohan, Koskinen, Kennedy Tower, IM Building, Ambler, and Sheffield
· Oversight and tracking of AED maintenance
· Budget and space rental management
· Liaison to the Recreation and Physical Education Department for scheduling needs for Club Sports games on Cohan Fields
· Scott Family Staff Locker Room – Coordination and Distribution of Lockers, Access (Locks & Combinations), and Name Plates (Tag Up)
· Assist Associate Director with facility and business management of varsity athletic facilities including facility scheduling through Virtual Event Management Systems software as assigned..
· Assist with game operations for Football, Men’s Basketball and Women’s Basketball.
Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
· Bachelor’s Degree required with at least one year of relative work experience in events and/or operations.
· Excellent written and oral skills
· Demonstrated independent working, decision-making, and project leadership experience
· Proven effective management of multiple related areas
· Demonstrated sound organizational, coordinating, and personal interface skills
· Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively
· Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail
· Ability to manage time well and prioritize tasks
Qualifications:
· Work requires analytical, communication and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree program.
