Alabama State University, Intercollegiate Athletics, invites applications for the position, Coordinator of Athletics Communications. This position supports the Associate AD for Communications and Associate AD for Creative Content in leading a successful multimedia department covering 18 NCAA Division I athletics programs. Excellence in each area will be attained through building relationships with local media, accurate statistical compilation and record keeping, social media expertise and promotion of all athletic department activities, game recaps, press releases, and special features.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Excellence in each area will be attained through building relationships with local media, accurate statistical compilation and record keeping, social media expertise and promotion of all athletic department activities, game recaps, press releases, and special features.
Duties and Responsibilities:
A Bachelor's degree, one years of professional experience in athletic communications, knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram, X, Facebook, and TikTok excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud software such as Photoshop, Light room, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects, knowledge of video production, podcast and production truck, and enthusiasm for sports and the teams or organizations that they work to promote required. Knowledge of NCAA Live Stats and Stat Crew software and Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products are preferred. Related experience will be considered in lieu of professional experience requirements. Work will require occasional weekend and/or evening work. Some local, regional, and/or national travel may be required.
