Rochester Institute of Technology, located in Rochester, N.Y., is seeking applicants for the position of Coordinator of Athletics Communication. The RIT Office of Athletic Communications is responsible for coordinating the publicity and promotion of the department's 24 intercollegiate athletic teams, including two Division I (men's and women's ice hockey) and 22 Division III programs, as well as over 650 student-athletes, coaches and administrators.
The Athletic Communications office maintainswww.ritathletics.com, tracks all statistical data and records, coordinates game day coverage for home and road contests, and manages social media for the department.
The coordinator will be expected to work 25-50 hours per week over a nine month period , depending on athletic contest coverage, while providing a strong social media presence for the department throughout the academic year.
