Job Description:

This is a professional position responsible for assisting the Assistant A.D. for Athletics Communication with all Bellarmine Athletics social media accounts and coordinating team accounts' social media efforts.  Duties include:

• Produce and post content across all social media platforms of Bellarmine Athletics
• Coordinate the social media efforts of individual athletic teams and affiliated accounts
• Produce video and graphic content for use at games and other special events
• Assist in the production of all athletic webcasts
• Work with other university departments to coordinate marketing efforts and maintain brand standards
• Assist the Assistant Athletics Director for Athletics Communication in the day-to-day administrative duties
• Assist the athletics department with operational duties assigned by the Director of Athletics or their designee
• Maintain an ongoing understanding of industry trends, innovative platforms, and emerging media in a rapidly changing profession
• Ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of people in a manner that positively portrays the University, its programs, and its personnel
• Promote a culture of inclusion, working effectively within a culture of individuals with diverse backgrounds, styles, abilities, and motivations
• Abide by and comply with National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Conference rules, academic standards, requirements, and policies of the Department of Athletics and University

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in marketing or related field, Three years related social/digital media experience.
