Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Experience in Business or Sports Administration. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of NCAA Rules Compliance (played a Division I, II or III sport, coached in collegiate athletics or as a staff member in a collegiate athletic program). Previous experience in a higher education institution.

Duties:

• Financial Operations:

  • The Coordinator will help process the daily revenue and expenditures for the Athletics Department’s 16 varsity programs and 7 support areas.

• Budget Management and Support:

  • Under direct supervision, the Coordinator will create, analyze, and disburse monthly budget reports.
  • In addition, the Coordinator will conduct research, recording and analyzing the results under the supervision of Associate AD for Business and Finance.

• Department Administration:

  • The duties may include basic on-line searching, cataloging and both written and verbal communication with supervisors’ peers and support staff.

• Administrative duties:

  • The Coordinator will assist the department with various administrative assignments, as needed.

• Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission.

Special Notes: This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Non-Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.

In addition to the employee's base salary, this position is eligible for $3,087 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly.
