Position Overview:
The Coordinator of Communications and Creative Content assists the Assistant AD of Communications with the development and execution of media relations and creative content for the athletic department. This includes assisting with managing media outreach, creating engaging digital content, overseeing game-day media operations, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance fan engagement and promote athletic programs. The role is responsible for ensuring consistent and dynamic storytelling across all platforms, driving visibility for teams and athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the management of media relations and content creation for all athletic programs.
Assist with leading the production of digital media, including videos, social media, and graphics.
Assist with game-day media operations and real-time event coverage.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance brand visibility.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field.
5+ years of experience in sports information or creative content roles.
Strong writing, media relations, and multimedia content skills.
Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a criminal background check as mandated by Tennessee State University.
