Position Summary Information
| Responsibilities |
Writing press releases and creating graphic designs for events. Updating website (game recaps, photos, history). Keeping and maintaining game, season, and career statistics. Creating and posting Social Media (all platforms) graphics and content. Identifying advertising prospects and negotiating contracts. Photography for home and away events. Broadcasting and public address when needed. Recruiting, training, and supervising Graduate and Student Assistants. Creating and submitting award nominations.

| Qualifications |
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Broadcasting, Sports Administration or a related field and 2 years’ sales experience. Master’s degree preferred. Demonstrated skill in organizing resources and setting priorities; ability to use independent judgement; excellent communication skills, both oral and written; ability to communicate effectively with the media and various constituencies; ability to coordinate and organize meetings and special events; skill in computers and software applications; knowledge of athletic sports, facilities, and equipment.

| Minimum Qualifications |
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Broadcasting, Sports Administration or a related field and 2 years’ sales experience.
