This position is responsible for maintaining high quality programming from the student success center (Study Hall, Athletic Events, Workshops, tabling Opportunities, etc.). The Coordinator position will also fulfill frequent check-ins with our student assistants who service our social media content, making sure deadlines are met, new projects are being built, and existing programs are sustained. Additionally, with the growth and sustaining efforts with Athletics, the Coordinator will be responsible for tracking student athletes study hour requirements to maintain their academics.

Oversees day-to-day office operations, program activities, and student services offered through the Student Success Center.
Performs a wide range of administrative duties to ensure student and program reports, records, and other materials are complete and accurately maintained according to relevant policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.

Assists Director in hiring student workers as needed, to support operations.
Manages, expands, and facilitates all functions and services related to the study hall program.
Manages many functions and services related to student assistants, including training and supervision.

Provides assistance and resource services to prospective and enrolled students as assigned by Director.
Provides outreach services and educational programs to proactively address issues that may impede student success and college retention.
Supports and academic success coaching model to provide ongoing support for students with learning differences.

Provides support during key time periods for large scale events and initiatives such as summer and winter orientation, admission events, and individualized specialized project semesters.

Has the ability to provide fiscal support for the Student Success Center.
Serves as an educator/trainer for staff, faculty, and students throughout the college to advance the understanding of topic areas such as project management, filling out academic concern reports, and how to support students on academic probation.

Committed to professional development across an array of specialty areas. Through participation in learning and development opportunities offered by leading Higher Education professional organizations.

Provides requested data reports pertaining to student success event attendance, retention measures, athlete study hours, and center usage for supervisor.

Maintains regular verbal and written communication with supervisor regarding any concerns, complaints, or emergencies.

Master’s Degree and 1 year of experience in Higher Education or Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience in higher education
Previous experience working directly with Student Success or Student Activity Services.
