| Job Description Summary |
BASIC FUNCTION:
Serve as the video coordinator for the Division I Women’s Basketball program and assist with on court player development and skill instruction in accordance with all NCAA, University, and Atlantic 10 Conference policies and regulations.

| Duties and Responsibilities |
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate all video-related activities for the women’s basketball program to include the video analysis of practice, opponents, and game film for study, development, individual instruction, and scouting purposes.
Responsible for the filming of games and for tape exchange policies, including the video uploading for A-10 requirements.
Responsible for the following: producing video highlights; video breakdown/editing; and coordinating film/video exchanges (including opponent video exchanges).
Responsible for the organization, inventory, and purchasing of video equipment, software, and supplies.
Perform/coordinate routine maintenance on equipment to include troubleshooting and updating of video equipment and software.
Travel with the team and coordinate the video requirements while on the road, such as setting up video equipment for coaches to watch film and filming the away game.
Train and provide technical support to staff and students on the use of video equipment/software.
Assist coaches in on court drill execution/skill instruction and player development.
Assist coaches in management and execution of practice scout team.
Athletically participate in basketball drills and scout team.
Represent the University and the athletic department on behalf of women’s basketball at professional meetings, alumni events, community service functions, and other events as necessary.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Comply with all NCAA, University, and Atlantic 10 Conference policies and regulations.
Perform other duties as required.
LICENSES, TOOLS, AND EQUIPMENT:
Computers, video software, video equipment and related video systems, database management and spreadsheet software. Synergy, Synergy Video Express, ARMS, Source Manager, iMovie, and Teamworks software.

| Required Qualifications |
REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of one year of experience using video technology skills to produce scouting and practice tapes for Division I Women’s Basketball.
Minimum of one year of experience of on court player development and skill instruction.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to adhere to University, NCAA, and Atlantic 10 Conference rules and regulations.
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations.
Appointment subject to NCAA violation report clearance.

| Preferred Qualifications |
PREFERRED:
Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in the use of video technology and equipment (including digital editing, production and post-production editing, graphics, and photo software).
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to use Synergy software.
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and troubleshoot computer and technical issues regarding video and software.
Demonstrated experience participating on scout team.
Demonstrated ability to athletically participate in on court drills and scout team.
