Creative, self-motivated individual who takes initiative and has an outgoing personality and strong determination to work through complex challenges.
Understanding of athletics and how to tell a story through design and photography.
Able to handle multiple tasks at once.
Organized in thought, actions, and habits.
Follow directions and work under supervision.
Work under tight deadlines and changing events.
Required to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Student workers and volunteers.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with a preferred field of study in Communications, Graphic Design, Art, and Marketing.
2+ years of experience.
Must have a strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Lightroom.
Demonstrated experience with social media platforms.
Four-year college degree. 4+ years of experience in a related field preferred.
To obtain LU-approved driver certification, individuals must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid driver’s license with a minimum of five (5) years of documented driving history, and maintain a clean driving record.
ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES ESSENTIAL TO THE FUNCTION OF THE JOB
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to convey clear, well-articulated information.
Ability to understand, speak, and write English to convey messages and correspond articulately and professionally.
Possess public communication skills that allow professional representation of Liberty University to a variety of business and community customers and associates.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Occasionally required to travel domestically and to local and campus locations.
Frequently required to sit for extended periods to perform deskwork or type on a keyboard.
Regularly required to hear and speak to effectively communicate orally.
Regularly required to see and discern colors.
Standing, walking, and climbing stairs are occasionally required to move about the building.
Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel, or stoop to conduct business.
Regularly lift 20 or fewer pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is frequently changing. Functions of this position’s responsibility often require one to work after normal business hours and sometimes for prolonged shifts. Some projects are completed in a climate-controlled office setting, and other projects on a regular basis are outdoors, often at athletics events. Work from home may be encouraged or required at times.
