Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
Ability to tell compelling stories through video, photos, social media and written materials.
Experience in photography, video production, video editing, and/or graphic design.
Ability to work proactively.
Experience with all relevant social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok) and understanding of trends and how they apply to Texas State.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with social media in a professional setting.
The Department of Athletics is seeking a part-time Creative Services Assistant.
This position will be responsible for producing and managing creative content and communication elements (photography, video, graphic design, social media) associated with promoting the Texas State Athletics. The position will also be responsible for telling compelling stories about the student-athletes of Texas State that focus on the importance of the Bobcat experience.
The position will take photos at Texas State games and events; create graphics for Texas State social media accounts; assist in video producing and editing; expand storytelling opportunities for the Texas State Athletics website; collaborate and contribute on social media content and series ideas for Texas State social media accounts; and help track social media analytics to evaluate effectiveness of content and storytelling.
The position will report to the Director of Creative Content and the Associate AD, Communications.
Ability to work nights and weekends.
