The Iowa State University Athletics Department is accepting applications for a Cyclone Club Annual Giving Specialist (donor relations and giving specialist I). This position is integral to the donor relations team and is responsible for assisting with all operations of the annual giving program, including cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of current and prospective donors.
Provides exceptional customer service, builds and maintains relationship with donors and potential donors, explains offerings, processes donations, and resolves issues.
Works directly with donors on various benefit offerings and levels of the Cyclone Club.
Manages donor benefit programs such as courtesy car program and parking.
Initiates, manages, and reconciles data in Ticketmaster.
Tracks donor renewal, lapsed donors, and retention rates using analytical data.
Assists in soliciting funds and presenting ideas to increase revenue in the Cyclone Club.
Identifies and helps develop new member engagement programming and communications.
Assists with events and hospitality that occur on- and off-campus.
Responsible for adhering to the rules and regulations of the department, University, Big 12 Conference, andNCAA
The successful candidate must be focused on customer service with solid interpersonal skills, possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to be resourceful, have high attention to detail and organizational skills, able to multitask, experience helping upset patrons, and comfortable soliciting funds. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse population. Must be available to work at assigned events that occur on evenings and weekends.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.
