The department is especially interested in candidates with a J.D. as well as
NCAA
Division I Compliance experience and Academic Support oversight.
Monday-Friday
8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
Will require hours beyond normal work schedule including nights, weekends, holidays,
and some travel.

Senior Associate AD, Sports Medicine Associate AD, Compliance
Director and Name Image and Likeness programs, including Altius
Advanced knowledge of
NCAA
rules and regulations, and related procedures at the Division I level.
Experience advising departments, collectives and sport programs in relation to Name Image and Likeness.
Knowledge of all areas of compliance in a Division I program.
Ability to multitask, be self-motivated, and highly organized.
Ability to educate, interact, and motivate coaches, student-athletes, and other members of the University community.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with diverse groups.

This position serves a vital role within the Director of Athletics Executive Leadership Team with administrative oversight of
NCAA
Division I compliance and internal operations. This position will be involved with the planning, direction, and conduct of the University of Memphis intercollegiate athletics program. This position is responsible for providing leadership and guidance in general policy development, high-level management of compliance and regulatory responsibilities, student-athlete development, staff development, sports program oversight and select support units.

Responsible for providing leadership and guidance related to general policy development and execution of Name Image and Likeness (NIL). Serves as an advisor to the Director of Athletics, University President and General Counsel concerning all matters related to NIL. Advises coaches, staff and outside parties (collectives, corporations and NIL advisors for student-athletes) on all matters related to current and future regulations/laws with respect to NIL.

Advances the efforts of the Department of Athletics and the University toward gender equity by assisting in the development of policies and strategies. Serves as a central liaison to the University community and represents the institution at Athletic Conference and National Association Meetings as the Senior Woman Administrator.

Primary day-to-day departmental liaison with the NCAA and the Athletic Conference, University General Counsel through committee involvement, and all governance-related activities, including legal affairs and evolving legislation.
Oversees all day-to-day compliance activities, provides rules education and monitoring for the athletics department. Supervises Athletic Compliance staff to ensure applicable policies are in place for the University, athletics department and sports programs in adherence with NCAA/Conference compliance guidelines. |
