Digital Initiatives Coordinator (Athletics)Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for the position of Digital Initiatives Coordinator in the Athletics department. Duties include, but are not limited to: assist with duties associated with distribution and execution of live broadcast and on-demand video productions of CCU athletic events and programs to designated conference and University platforms as needed; assist with duties associated with oversight and facilitation of all in-venue video operations, including but not limited to: NCAA and conference mandated instant replay, video board production at applicable venues, and in house television and production for both sporting events and non-sporting events presented by the Department of Athletics; assist multi-media rights holder or other third parties with content creation related to videoboards, courtside LEDs, etc. at athletic facilities; assist with duties associated with oversight, planning, content creation, and execution of department wide social media efforts to enhance fan engagement of individual programs, attendance at athletic events and recruiting efforts as applicable and allowed by NCAA and Conference by-laws; organize the staffing and training of all necessary staff required for athletic events related to production of in-game media and streaming; assist Department of Athletics with special projects and special events as necessary; maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical requirements associated with multimedia entities; assist with maintenance and inventory control of equipment needed for broadcast productions; and perform other duties as assigned by Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics and University Recreation or designee. Requirements: A bachelor’s degree is required. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in college athletics video production preferred (may include time spent as intern or graduate assistant if applicable). Additionally, candidate must have a strong working knowledge of Adobe systems, Daktronics Scoreboards (Venus and Show Control video boards), Ross Production gear (Carbonite, Xpression, and Dashboard) or similar equipment; have strong working knowledge of current television broadcast techniques and practices; have excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
