Scout and recruit student-athletes and on-campus visits of prospective student-athletes who can succeed both academically and athletically.
Collect and analyze tactical and statistical data of upcoming events and design/develop strategies.
Create and promote the philosophy and objectives of the K-State Athletics Track, Field, & Cross Country Program, which includes adhering to all K-State Athletics policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the NCAA, Big 12 Conference, and Kansas State University. Attend compliance seminars conducted by the KSA compliance office as required.
Participate in public relations activities to include interviews with newspapers, radio and television media, attend press conferences and make public appearances. Represent KSA at professional, civic, charitable and alumni events. Participate in approved fundraising activities, clinics, exhibitions and camps.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Knowledge of current NCAA Division I rules and regulations relating to men’s and women’s track, field and cross country
Demonstrate success overseeing a NCAA Division I men’s and women’s track, field and cross country program
Demonstrate ability to recruit student-athletes in the US and internationally with potential for success in both academic and athletic success
Other Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
Must possess a valid driver’s license at all times
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Must be able to travel for recruiting and competitions and fundraising events
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
