Job Summary

The Director, Annual Giving – Eagles Club is responsible for cultivating meaningful relationships with key constituents to support university and athletic priorities. Managing a portfolio of 100-125 prospects, this role focuses on acquiring athletics annual donors, uncovering leadership gift prospects, and fostering a culture of philanthropy. The position also designs and implements targeted engagement and solicitation programs, oversees Athletics' annual giving calendar, and ensures timely and effective donor outreach.

Job Description

Typical duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Manages a portfolio of donors and prospects. Plans and develops innovative strategies for portfolio growth.
  • Develops the annual fund plan with specific goals and performance metrics.
  • Develops and implements successful strategies for the cultivation and solicitation of donors and prospects at all Eagles Club giving levels.
  • Prepares gift proposals and gift agreements.
  • Conducts personal visits with donors and prospective donors. Organizes campus visits with appropriate students, staff, faculty, or leadership.
  • Compiles background information and summaries for fundraising visits. Works with complex financial data to interpret donor prospect profiles.
  • Oversees member benefits, including priority seating communications, membership benefit fulfillment and priority seating strategy.
