Department Information
The Georgia Tech Athletic Association (GTAA) sponsors varsity intercollegiate athletics competition in 17 NCAA Division I sports for the Georgia Institute of Technology. We are a proud member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Steeped in history and success while embracing strategic innovation, our programs compete at the highest level and strive for national championships. Tech fans are passionate about their support of their beloved Yellow Jackets and cherish the many traditions involved with the program.
Lead the development and execution of strategies and initiatives to build the Georgia Tech Athletics Association (GTAA) brand across digital channels. This position serves as a key leader in driving creativity and cohesiveness amongst GTAA social and digital platforms.
This position will interact on a regular basis with: GTAA staff, external partners, and campus partners

Job Duty 1 -
Support the Assistant Athletic Director in providing strategic leadership across GTAA social media and digital by initiating creative process, asset development, and activation
Job Duty 2 -
Oversee the official GTAA website (ramblinwreck.com) and microsites, and support oversight of official apps and all other new technologies related to brand
Job Duty 3 -
Support marketing strategies for all social network pages, including the development of fan interaction initiatives and marketing/promotional opportunities to enhance brand awareness
Job Duty 4 -
Partner with external units (Marketing, Communications, Legends) on the development of graphic designs for media projects to include posters, media guides, advertising, schedule cards, tickets, game programs, and other creative efforts
Job Duty 5 -
Collect, analyze, and interpret data and analytics from digital marketing campaigns to measure performance and identify key trends
Job Duty 6 -
Collaborate with content creators/editors and graphic designers to strategize and develop optimal digital content delivery across multiple platforms
Job Duty 7 -
Manage digital implementation and activation for third-party rightsholders to drive sponsorship, ticketing, and merchandise revenue
Job Duty 8 -
Serve as a primary liaison for third party vendors for website and GTAA brand matters. Develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with key internal and external constituents
Job Duty 9 -
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field from accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
Four or more years of job-related experience, including marketing strategy across all digital channels and platforms
Preferred Experience
Six or more years of marketing experience across all digital channels
Applicants will be required to submit a graphic design portfolio.
