The Director of Football Operations will work directly with the Head Coach, Operations Coordinator, and the Director of the Academic Enhancement Center and assist with all administrative aspects of the University's NCAA Division I football program. Essential tasks will include: oversight of day to day correspondence with university officials, oversight of daily on going recruiting activities, community outreach and community service projects and NCAA Life Skill programs developed for our football athletes. The Director will develop and oversee programs for the maturation of our football athletes and assist them as they prepare to be productive members of the university and the community at large. The Director will work with community leaders to garner continued financial support for the football program and establish cooperative agreements; the Director of Operations will coordinate football team travel and community outreach at home or at away events; coordinate hotel accommodations for official recruit visits and recruit travel; set meals, activities and entertainment with designated home official visits and hotels; reserve football meeting space for football functions at the university and off campus events. The Director will assist with coordination of required charter bus and air transportation; and team equipment transportation for away trips. The Director will oversee: evaluation of high school, junior college and transfer portal recruit transcripts for college eligibility and NCAA Division I success; update and maintenance of the head football coaches calendar, coordinate on campus game day recruiting activities to include meals, campus tours, academic meetings with professors and other activities related to official visits i.e., hotel accommodation, entertainment and meetings with designated coaches and other university personnel. Oversee the development of annual football clinics and summer camp structure, and assist to monitor student athletes academic progress; serve as liaison to the Compliance office, Campus Fraternities, NFL Scouts, High School Coaches and other groups assigned by the head coach. The Director will serve as positive role model for student athletes; know and follow all NCAA rules and regulations and work to educate the athletes, coaches, and representatives of athletic interest associated with this position; serve as a contact for all visiting teams playing in Murfreesboro throughout the season and secure all facilities associated with all practices and games. The Director will also assist with oversight of football banquets, golf tournaments and other fund raisers associated with the football team, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree required.
Three (3) years administrative, operations, coaching and/or playing experience on a high school, collegiate, Division 1 football program or professional level required. Demonstrated knowledge and application of NCAA rules and regulations.
Five (5) years' experience working with a Division I football program or as a full time administrative/ operations coordinator or an assistant coach preferred.
