General Notes
Additional hours will be required to include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. This job is not suitable for remote work and is expected to work regular in-office hours. Travel is required.
Purpose
The Director of Development is charged with maximizing revenues from leadership fundraising initiatives, including capital, DeLoss Dodds Leadership Team, the United Texas Circle, endowed and planned giving opportunities. The will be accomplished in accordance with all Federal, State, NCAA, Conference and Institutional Regulations.
Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree. A minimum of five years of experience assisting with fundraising programs. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Master's degree. Affiliation with the University of Texas at Austin and/or as a former student-athlete or alumni. Five or more years of experience in individual major gifts fundraising with a record of consistently closing major gifts.
This job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident. Employees who are required to have a CDL are subject to drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, random, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug and alcohol testing).

Employment Eligibility:
