Intercollegiate Athletics
The University of Missouri’s Women’s Basketball Program is seeking a Director of Athletic Performance.
Reporting to the Head Coach, this individual will be responsible for:
Overseeing strength and conditioning; developing sport specific workouts; and providing support to the department.
Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the facility; including assisting with clean-up and maintenance of weight room equipment.
Intercollegiate Athletics
The University of Missouri’s Women’s Basketball Program is seeking a Director of Athletic Performance.
Reporting to the Head Coach, this individual will be responsible for:
Overseeing strength and conditioning; developing sport specific workouts; and providing support to the department.
Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the facility; including assisting with clean-up and maintenance of weight room equipment.
Supporting coaching staff in the design and implementation of individualized programs in speed, strength, movement, and physical conditioning for assigned student-athletes.
Training student-athletes in proper weightlifting/strengthening techniques; teaching muscle conditioning, nutrition programming, form running and plyometric techniques.
Administering and evaluating testing procedures and data input for coaches, athletes, and staff.
Reviewing research publications and journals and attending various clinics and conventions to keep up to date on new methods in athletic weight training.
Assisting with supervising graduate students and interns.
Helping with various program related items as needed.
Adhering to NCAA, SEC, and University regulations.
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required.
A Bachelor's degree in related/ relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Prior strength & conditioning coaching experience is preferred.
Salary Range: Salary is commensurate with education and experience
