Director of Athletics Communications

Position Summary:
The Director for Athletics Communications is responsible for providing leadership and coordinating all Sports Information matters related to the NCAA Division II and the Lone Star Conference. The Director for Athletics Communications plans and implements programs in communications, publications, and promotions which further the objectives, enhance the image and increases the generation of notoriety for the universities 20+ sport NCAA and Club athletics programs. The DAC targets audiences and finds ways to reach them with information about the Universities student athletes and athletic teams and develops themes to project an image which the institution is trying to project with its intercollegiate athletics sports program. The Director for Athletics Communications reports to the Director of Athletics
