 Department Details/Job Summary The individual serves the athletic department as Director of Baseball Operations. Duties include planning and administration of the men’s baseball team; Liaison with other departments; Coordinating with appropriate staff the aspects necessary to operate a baseball program; Coordinating all travel logistics (including aircraft, ground transportation, lodging, and meals) for home and away contests. Coordinating all logistical aspects for home and away practices and games for the team and staff; Assists with all team-related events; Coordinating public service activities, including coordinating baseball camps. Assists in tracking and ordering all equipment and uniforms; Aids in housing needs for student-athletes. Assists with recruiting, including mailings to prospective student-athletes and aiding in official visits. Other duties as assigned by the head coach relating to the day-to-day operations of a Division I baseball program.Â

Essential Functions Responsible for planning and logistics of the men’s baseball program. Serves as a liaison with other departments; Prepares and maintains the annual baseball budget. Preparing and maintaining the annual baseball budget. Coordinates with appropriate staff the aspects necessary to operate a baseball program. Coordinating all travel logistics (including aircraft, ground transportation, lodging and meals) for home and away contests. Coordinating all logistical aspects for home and away practices and games for the team and staff. Individual will assist in planning of baseball related-events. Coordinating public service activities. Coordinating all baseball camps. Assists with coordinating any pre and post-game functions. Coordinate the all field rentals, including coordinating tournament schedules in conjunction with the Department’s Facilities and Operations. Assists in tracking & ordering all equipment & uniforms; Aids in housing needs for student-athletes. Assists with recruiting, including mailings to prospective student-athletes and aiding in official visits. Other duties assigned by the head coach.
Physical Effort Individual will be required to travel between locations and could be asked to stand for long periods of time during practice and games. Lift up to 25 lbs.
