Degree in data analytics, sports management, computer science, statistics, kinesiology, or a related field. 2 years of experience in a comparable baseball systems, analytics, or operations role at the collegiate or professional level.

| Position Summary |
The Director of Baseball Systems will be responsible to lead the design, implementation, and daily management of the program’s data, video, and technology infrastructure. This position serves as the central hub connecting player development, advanced scouting, recruiting, and sports performance through data — translating raw information from designated tools into clear, actionable insight for the coaching staff and student-athletes. The Director of Baseball Systems works closely with the Head Coach and full coaching staff, sports performance and athletic training personnel, compliance, and athletics IT to ensure the program’s technology and analytics operations run efficiently, accurately, and in full accordance with NCAA and SEC regulations.

| Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
- Technical proficiency: Hands-on experience with baseball technology platforms such as TrackMan, Rapsodo, Synergy Sports, Blast Motion, or Yakkertech.
- Data skills: Strong proficiency in Excel ; working knowledge of SQL, R, Python, or Tableau strongly preferred.
- Compliance knowledge: Working understanding of NCAA rules and regulations related to recruiting communication and data sharing.
- Communication: Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for coaches and student-athletes.

- Frequent travel with the team, including overnight and weekend trips during the competitive season.
- Ability to work variable and extended hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Some exposure to outdoor weather conditions at games, practices, and bullpens.
- Ability to lift and transport equipment (cameras, radar/tracking units, laptops, and related gear), typically up to 25–35 lbs.
