Reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director for Strategic Communication, the Director of Broadcasting assists with the publicity efforts of the University’s NCAA Division I intercollegiate sports by providing oversight of the athletic department’s television and in-house broadcast operations. Night and weekend work required as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook). Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. Self-starter with an outstanding work ethic. 1-3 years’ experience in a related field strongly preferred. Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Audition, After Effects, Photoshop) strongly preferred. Experience using Newtek production equipment (Tricaster, 3Play) strongly preferred.
