| Position Summary |
The Director for Development reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Development and serves as a member of the department staff that is committed to excellence and advancing the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics through its strategic plan and vision.

| Job Duties and Responsibilities |
- Work with Assistant AD for Development to achieve annual fundraising goals for Central Arkansas Athletics.
- Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward current and prospective annual fund donors.
- Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward current and prospective UCA Lettermen’s Club members.
- Develop and coordinate annual fundraising events, stewardship plans, recognition programs, and fundraising material consistent with the goals of Central Arkansas Athletics.
- Serving as liaison to and work in a highly collaborative fashion with University Advancement on current and future fundraising initiatives.
- Work directly with the athletic departments 18 varsity teams in meeting departmental and programmatic fundraising goals.
- Achieve development metrics set forth by University Advancement and Central Arkansas Athletics.
- Comply with all NCAA, United Athletic Conference, ASUN Conference, and institutional rules and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong interpersonal, writing, communication, problem solving, and emotional skills.
- Experience with and knowledge of various computer-based software for, but not limited to, donor management is preferred.
- Nights, weekends, and ability to travel are essential.
