Director of Development, Athletics
Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Four (4) years of full-time experience in fundraising, sales, events, and/or a related field. Experience working in higher education, non-profit, government or municipal environments, large healthcare systems, and/or related fields. Proven record of successfully cultivating and soliciting individual donors or institutions for major gifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). One (1) additional year of full-time experience in fundraising, sales, events, and/or a related field within higher education, non-profit, government or municipal environments, large healthcare systems, and/or related fields. Fundraising campaign experience. Contact management software experience.

Collaborating closely with the Executive Director for Athletics, AVP for Development, and colleagues in Advancement, they will design and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan and strategy for selected areas. Responsibilities include meeting with key prospects and individual donors, cultivating relationships, soliciting gifts, and managing all faculty fundraising activities. They must meet clearly-defined annual metrics and have experience managing multiple priorities and donor/client relationships.

Special Notes:
This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption.
In addition to the employee's base salary, this position is eligible for $4,000 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly.
