DIRECTOR OF FAN EXPERIENCE

An example of job duties includes but are not limited to:
Develop, coordinate, and implement fan experience and marketing plans for women’s basketball. Assume responsibility for all in-game marketing and promotions associated with assigned events, such as the production of run of show timelines and public-address scripts, organization of in-venue entertainment and time-out coordination with band, cheer and dance, as well as activation of sponsorships. Develop and implement student marketing plans. Provide leadership in overseeing a gameday student staff.
Develop and implement marketing campaigns for student pass sales and attendance with strategies to increase revenue and maintain high levels of student involvement and attendance. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with Student Governing Association and Student Advisory Committee to ensure a cohesive student marketing strategy. Develop marketing materials and ancillary content for use on social media platforms and in print/digital materials.
Manage and supervise the Fan Experience Assistant(s) and the student intern program. Provide necessary training and regular feedback on performance and expectations. Monitor and schedule student staff hours/games. Create a positive working environment focused on providing the Best Fan Experience in the Big 12.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, advertising, public relations or related field
One year of experience in sports marketing
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of experience working in a collegiate athletic marketing office
Experience with managing student staff
Experience with an Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator)
Other Requirements:
Proven ability to multi-task
Possess strong computer skills, including a thorough knowledge of MS office, Outlook and Adobe Design programs
Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Must be able to work independently in a demanding environment with ability to prioritize job duties in order to complete assignments on-time
Must have a valid driver’s license at all times and be available to work evenings, weekend, and holidays and travel as required.
