The Director of Football Operations is a non-coaching support staff role that oversees the day-to-day logistics for the sport of football associated with Lafayette College and the Patriot League.
Responsibilities include coordinating aspects of team travel including transportation, lodging, and meals. Assisting the Football coaching staff with all aspects of the recruitment of Prospective Student-Athletes. Assisting the Head Coach with overseeing the team budget and development activities, and overseeing the incoming student-athlete transition. A liaison to all internal and external constituents of the program, including Sports Medicine, Equipment, Alumni, Donors, Parents, Dining Services, and members of the community. Other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach.
Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years experience in an operations role. Strong verbal and written communication skills along with knowledge of Google Workspace for Education, Microsoft Office, and ARMS.Possess knowledge and abide by NCAA and Patriot League rules and regulations.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to cultivate professional relationships with students-athletes and staff and be passionate about the student-athlete experience. Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Computer/Technological skills, able to work with a diverse group of people with various backgrounds, education levels, and cultural differences. Must be able to work nights and weekends.
