Fiscal Year - FT Contract
Perform administrative, budgetary and planning duties for the football program, working directly with the Head Coach, Football and the football staff to include all aspects of football operations/administration; ensure that the football program operates in full compliance with the university, conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
3 or more years of football operations experience.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with coaches, administrators, student athletes and vendors; extremely organized, self-starter, intrinsically motivated; strong organizational, management and leadership skills; proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and social media; proven ability to multi-task effectively; ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines, available to work flexible work schedule including nights and weekends; travel with sport teams for away contests; through knowledge of NCAA and Mid-American Conference rules and regulations.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Experience with recruiting prospective student athletes; seeking out candidates, data collections, formulation and maintaining a mailing campaign in order to attract PSA’s; planning, scheduling and organizing group travel arrangements; proven ability and experience with event planning; experience at the NCAA Division I FBS level.
Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.

Duties & Responsibilities

Advance person for team travel; responsible for final execution of team travel plan involving hotel accommodations, travel site transportation (busses, vans, trucks, etc.), and postgame meal; during home games, responsible for final execution of home game operations.

Assist the football staff with recruiting weekends and game day recruiting functions; coordinate travel arrangements for incoming recruits during all official visits, including meals, hotels, and travel; direct and manage assigned work-study personnel on game and in day-to-day recruiting operations; generate the necessary paperwork required by the NCAA and the Athletics Department for an official or unofficial visit.

Manage and prepare all aspects of the football operating budget.

Oversee the recruiting schedule for the Head Football Coach, Assistant, Football Coaches and office personnel.

Ensure that all Department of Athletics and University related activities operate in full compliance with university, conference and NCAA rules and regulations; attend and participate in scheduled compliance seminars and comply with all the Athletic Department’s efforts to monitor compliance with NCAA regulations; seek interpretations from the compliance staff before acting when necessary; report potential rules violations immediately; complete required compliance paperwork in a timely and efficient manner; monitor all of their areas and/or programs activities closely to maintain compliance with applicable rules and regulations.

Assist in team roster management, as well as serving as the liaison for the roster management system (ARMS).

Assist in the scheduling of football facilities; Assist with game day officials and attending 100 minute meetings; serve as the ticketing contact person for players and staff for home and away games.

Serve as team’s contact person with University Housing & Residence Life, as well as University Catering & Dining for team meal preparations.

Assist in planning of events such as the Alumni Golf Outing and alumni relations; guest speakers for training camp, night before games, and spring practice; Provide support in community service events for player involvement as well as summer job and internship program.
