10% Coordinate the scheduling of facilities for practices and team events; also point of contact for visiting teams to schedule training time.  

10% Oversee or assist in communication with facility management.

10% Plan and execute special events including alumni events, camps, etc

10% Serve as a liaison and point of contact with external groups including fundraising, team parents, alumni groups and coaching associations.  

10% Perform other related duties as assigned by the head coach or sport administrator including helping coordinate the Head Coach’s private plane usage

5%    Assist Assistant Coaches with various duties

5% - Administrative

• Serve as a liaison with Compliance 

  • Liaison for football student-athlete’s academic progress. 

• Assist in the advancing the department’s mission, vision, and strategic plan including its commitment to equity and diversity.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree
• Previous football operations experience.  

Preferred:

• Master's degree
• Previous Director of Operations experience, preferably at the D1 level

With more than 140 years of tradition, Gopher Athletics is one of the oldest and most decorated athletics departments in the country. Minnesota was a charter member of the Big Ten Conference – our teams have won more than 200 conference titles to go with 26 national titles – and is currently home to 25 programs, the fourth-most in the league. There are more than 700 student-athletes and nearly 300 full-time employees in our athletics department. Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $90,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on education/qualifications/experience 

Time Appointment: 75%-100% Appointment 

Position Type:  Faculty and P&A Staff
