Virginia Wesleyan University, a NCAA Division III institution and a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, is accepting applications for a Director of Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Track and Field. Virginia Wesleyan is located in Virginia Beach, VA and sponsors 23 varsity sports teams, supporting over 400 student-athletes
The director will oversee all aspects of the men’s and women’s cross country and track and field programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; recruitment of quality student-athletes, scheduling, managing and coaching meets, planning and conducting practices, organizing team travel, monitoring student-athletes’ academic progress, equipment maintenance and purchases, budget management, fundraising and administrative duties required to maintain competitive cross country and track and field programs.
