The Director of Olympic Sport Strength and Conditioning Coach (Head Coach) will lead, manage and help set the strategic vision for a team of dedicated and invested professionals whose mission is to enhance the student athlete experience of each Olympic Sport athlete within the Utah State University Athletic Department. This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of personnel, facilities and budget matters pertaining to fifteen Olympic Sports.
Reporting directly to the Vice President and Director of Athletics, the Director will work closely with the men’s basketball coach to enhance the athletic performance of student-athletes. The Director of Olympic Sport Strength and Conditioning Coach will work with the men’s basketball program and other programs as assigned. This position will work closely with the Director of Football Strength and Conditioning Coach and will collaborate with fellow student-athlete services staff. The Director will work to empower the strength and conditioning staff by promoting teamwork and collaboration, open lines of communication, a coach-driven student-athlete centered approach, and cutting-edge methodologies aligned to best practices.
