8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Monday – Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours hours required in conjunction with football games and recruiting events.
Serve as first point of contact for on campus recruiting to encompass travel needs for prospective student athletes, families and coaches. Responsible for all aspects of official visits to include travel reservations, off campus transportation and housing, off campus entertainment venues and restaurants. Manage overall budget for recruiting to include on and off campus visits in excess of $625,000 yearly.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from a four year college or university and one year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
This position will serve in the role of managing the on campus football recruiting operation, while also overseeing & assisting coaches with off campus recruiting and visits. This includes managing the football recruiting budget, advising the head coach and assistant coaches on all administrative areas involving recruiting and overseeing all administrative recruiting duties.
Other duties as assigned by Head Football Coach, Director of Football Relations, or Athletic Director.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
Bachelor’s degree and previous experience with football recruiting at the Division I level.
