Athletics - Women's Soccer
The mission of the NC State University Department of Athletics is to prepare student-athletes to compete at the highest level and to inspire them to be leaders now and for the future by providing the best environment to achieve their athletic, academic, and personal aspirations as well as providing support for the professional development of our coaches and staff, all within the role of the greater institutional relationships to the University. This position will serve as Director of Operations for the Division 1 Women’s Soccer Team at NC State University that competes within the Atlantic Coast Conference (
ACC
) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (
NCAA
).
The Director of Operations’ main responsibilities for Women’s Soccer include, but are not limited to:
Oversee the budget and update Head Coach as needed.
Participate with all aspects of
NCAA
compliance.
Oversee all official and unofficial recruiting visits to ensure
NCAA
compliance. Coordinate all arrangements and ensure submission of all necessary paperwork.
Work with NC State marketing to advance the NC State and NC State Women’s Soccer brand.
Develop and integrate a plan to expand the alumni database and communication efforts.
Manage ongoing alumni relations, which includes organizing all Alumni events, including social events, newsletter, etc.
Manage video exchange with opponents, and organize all audio/video needs pre- and post-game day.
Provide guidance to student athletes, as needed, with admissions, housing and financial aid.
Manage and coordinate all team travel plans including, but not limited to: hotels, transportation, meals, and practice times.
Liaison to Nutrition, in planning and purchasing of all meals, snacks, etc.
Liaison to Marketing, in coordination of any media related requests.
Organize all pre- and post-Home game activities.
Liaison with the Red Terrors student supporter’s group.
Assistant Director of all Women’s Soccer camps and clinics.
Oversee community outreach for the program.
Other duties as assigned by Head Coach and Administration.
Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor’s Degree

| Other Required Qualifications |
- Minimum of one-year experience working in a Collegiate Soccer program.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Prior experience working as Director of Operations for collegiate team.
- Previous experience as a coach/staff member or student athlete.
- Practical knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
