Position Summary:

This position is responsible for providing support to the overall operation of the Vanderbilt Men’s Basketball program. This includes, but is not limited to, program operations, travel, and overall programmatic structure.

About the Work Unit:

Vanderbilt University’s Athletics Department prepares student-athletes to become leaders and champions in life by placing the highest values on integrity, character, sportsmanship and victory. Vanderbilt is a charter member of the Southeastern Conference and is the conference's only private school. The university fields 17 varsity teams, 15 of which compete in the Southeastern Conference.

Key Functions and Expected Performance:

  1. Provide daily support to the overall operation of the Vanderbilt Men’s Basketball program.
  2. Responsible for coordinating liaison positions (i.e. compliance, business office, Commodore Club, etc.).
  3. Oversee all aspects of summer camps.
  4. Assist with all aspects of recruiting visits, both unofficial and official, as needed.
  5. Work closely with Head Coach, as well as the Athletic Business Office, to monitor purchases and maintain operating budgets.
