Louisiana Tech University is seeking candidates for Director of Player Development. This is a full-time, 12-month position. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree required; Masters degree preferred. Collegiate playing experience and/or coaching experience and a working knowledge of Conference USA and NCAA regulations are also preferred. Candidate must have sound written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to athletic and academic success.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Head Baseball Coach in the day-to-day operations of a Division I Baseball program
  • Ensure that the Baseball program demonstrates a commitment to academics and to maintaining compliance with NCAA, C-USA, Louisiana Tech University, and State of Louisiana rules and regulations.
  • Provide student-athletes with appropriate development techniques to help them perform at the highest levels.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the University.
