| Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
The athletic program at Appalachian State University operates on the premise that intercollegiate athletics is an integral part of the institution’s overall program of education. Priority is given to high standards of both academic and athletic quality — the goal being the complete development of the student-athlete.
The Director of Player Development for Baseball will assist with the development of baseball student-athletes and gather important information on newcomers. This position will report to the Head Baseball Coach and will be responsible for the following duties and tasks:
Assist with Scouting
Assessment Coordination
Improving Drill Database
Assist in Education Process
Pitching Travel Coordination
