JOB SUMMARY:

Directs the student-athlete development in Softball through the management and utilization of program facilities, equipment, and technology and assessment of individual player and overall team strengths and weaknesses. Supports the head coach in the day-to-day operations of the Sotball program.

JOB DUTIES:

45% - Essential - Player Development and Opponent Scouting: Manages the assessment phase of the Softball player development program. Evaluates current student athlete strengths and weaknesses through the use of video analysis and personal observation. Provides regular skill assessment reports to coaching staff. Presents staff with strategies for player development based on analysis of student-athlete strengths and weaknesses and the evaluation of the team during scrimmages, practices, and games. Develops presentations for coaches to use to instruct players. Provides opponent scouting reports to coaching staff.
