Fiscal Year - FT Contract
This position will work in conjunction with the Director of Football Operations and the Recruiting Coordinator(s) for the Ball State University football program to provide a first-class experience for both prospective and current student-athletes. This position will adhere to Ball State University, NCAA, and MAC policies, procedure, rules, and regulations.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Two years of related work experience.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage the organization and vision of all recruiting events throughout the calendar year.

Coordinate all official and unofficial visits.

Work in conjunction with the Athletic Compliance office in regards to the on-campus recruitment of all prospective student-athletes.

Serve as the summer bridge coordinator to assist student-athletes in the transition to college and sport success by providing the academic skills and social resources needed to succeed in a college environment.

Responsible for preparing student-athletes for personal, academic, and athletic development success. Works with the mentor program and development speaker program; assist with organizing community outreach and charity work.

Ensure that all Department of Athletics and Ball State University related activities operate in full compliance with University, MAC, and NCAA Rules and Regulations. Attend and participate in scheduled compliance seminars and comply with all the athletic department’s efforts to monitor compliance with NCAA Regulations. Review interpretations from the compliance staff before acting when necessary. Report potential rules violations and completes paperwork timely and efficiently. Monitor all assigned areas and/or programs activities closely to maintain compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
