Assists the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and staff with all administrative matters pertaining to the day-to-day operations of the men’s basketball program. This position requires frequent travel, as well as evening and weekend hours.
Works closely with the head coach to manage all administrative day-to-day operations. Monitors student-athletes’ campus activities to include housing, athletic scholarships, financial aid and acts as liaison for parents and families. Coordinates with recruiting coordinator on planning official and unofficial visits. Communicates and guides student-athletes through Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) inquiries. Serves as liaison with the Office of Academic Advisement to monitor and report on student-athlete academic progress. Acts as liaison to the marketing team to plan game day experience, student, and community involvement. Works with athletic facilities with department personnel on facility improvement, enhancements, and practice schedule. Monitors, organizes, and maintains ticket requests for game day and tournament tickets. Acts as liaison with the Admissions Office for admission of potential undergraduate and transfer students. Monitors annual budget and organizes team travel. Serves as liaison for former players and assists with job placement as necessary. Works with Athletic Fundraising Office to plan and communicate alumni events. Assists the Head Coach in organizing summer camps and clinics. Displays knowledge and adhere to all rules and regulations, pertaining to the sport as established by the NCAA, A10, and the University.

Bachelor’s degree. Minimum four (4) years’ relevant experience.
High level organizational skills. Demonstrated commitment and motivation to building a successful program. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
1-2 years working in a Division I collegiate athletic department.
