The Office Traditional Undergraduate Admissions(TUG) is seeking a full time Director of Recruiting. Under the direction of the Executive Director of Traditional Undergraduate Admissions, the Director of Recruitment leads the sales arm of the Undergraduate Admissions. Hire, train and support all recruiters, ensures a personalized and seamless approach to recruitment, admission and enrollment of new students to meet the university’s enrollment goals. The Director focuses on training and resourcing the admissions recruiting team, developing enrollment-best practices and applying innovative approaches to recruiting each incoming class of Roberts Redhawks. Additionally, the Director of Recruiting will serve as an Athletics Liaison for the expansion of Roberts NCAA Division II program, including caring for a roster of incoming athletes.
Leads the planning, designing, coordination and implementation of territory recruitment initiatives to meet Roberts stated enrollment goals, as well as visits and FAFSA filing goals. Coordinates with the Campus Experience and Visit Manager to facilitate on-campus and off-campus recruiting events. Monitors and analyzes enrollment data to identify target populations for recruitment and provides flexible, rapid response to emerging opportunities; evaluates and reports on trends and developments across priority and emerging markets to inform the University’s recruitment strategy. Identifies targets for increasing and sustaining enrollment through one-on-one follow-up with prospective students, developing deeper relationships with high schools, community organizations and local employers. Recognizes growth and development opportunities and responds effectively to emerging issues. Oversees the process of turning prospective students into admitted students, utilizing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and associated communication systems to maximize effective outreach to prospective students. Hires, evaluates, trains, supervises and disciplines and recommends dismissal of staff as necessary. Identifies professional development and training opportunities. Reviews completed applicant files for admissions decisions. Stays current on student recruitment best practices. Performs other duties as assigned.

Apply NowThe approved salary for this position is $58,000.00 - $60,00.00/Annually. Competitive salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, qualifications, education & training requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; masters preferred in related field with a minimum of 3-5 years of sales/marketing experience. Recruiting and management experience preferred. Previous experience working in higher education is ideal. Excellent customer service, superior presentation, and dynamic interpersonal skills desired along with a professional public persona and established related network. Student athlete or Athletics administration experience ideal. Strong computer and technical skills required including (but not limited to): Word, Excel, Google Suite, CRM, social media, and other higher education systems. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate cultural competence and must value the principles of diversity and equity.
