Responsibilities :
The Director of Ticket Operations will be responsible for leading all ticket operations efforts for the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Athletic Department. This position will provide direction and support by setting effective policies, procedures, and guidelines for all ticket functions. Under the guidance of the Associate Athletic Director for Sales & Service, the Director of Ticket Operations will collaborate with other external units and the business office as it relates to maximizing revenue and attendance for all ticketed sports while providing the highest level of customer service to all internal and external customers. The position will also manage any full-time and part-time ticket operations staff and be responsible for providing strategic direction to maximize ticket revenue for football and baseball.
Job Tasks & Responsibilities
-Understand University financial systems, policies and procedures and develop best practices and policies for ticket office finances.
-Works with Development & Alumni Relations, Marketing, Sponsorship, and Business Development teams to identify new prospects and work collaboratively through a comprehensive marketing and fan engagement plan.
-Update current office operations to help streamline training of staff and special projects as needed.
-Coordinate the fiscal activities for the Ticket Office, including event reconciliation, financial reports, daily settlements, payroll, purchase orders, and invoices.
-Assist with revenue generation for four ticketed sports (single game tickets, season tickets, mini-plans, group sales, and hospitality packages). Engage with the Acadiana community and external partners to increase revenue during athletic home events.
-Under the direction of the Associate AD for Sales & Service, learn and maintain knowledge of Louisiana Athletics Ticket Office policies (ticket offerings, seating charts, etc.). Develop best practices and create training and support materials to effectively communicate with customers and assist with inquiries.
-Oversee the set up and management of the box office, will call, fan services locations, gate entry points, etc. on game and event day.
-Direct ticket office operations and all full-time or part-time staff.
-Provide excellent customer support by responding to inquiries, answering telephones, and utilizing ticketing systems to process sales, reprint tickets, and facility day-to-day needs.

-Assist in prospecting for Revenue Generation and Marketing staff through research and reporting tools.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
-A Bachelor's degree
-3 years of experience in ticket operations
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with Paciolan Ticketing and SalesForce CRM software preferred.
-Ability to lead others and create opportunities for growth
-Excellent computer, verbal and written communication, as well as demonstrated organizational skills necessary
-Experience working with Paciolan or Ticketmaster/Archtics ticketing systems preferred
-Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
-Task-oriented and self-motivated with ability to work independently and part of a team
-Ability to both prioritize given assignments, multi-task effectively and meet deadlines
-Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
-Experience working with outbound sales or within a Ticket or Fiscal Operations office preferred.
-Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks with an attention to detail in a time sensitive, pressurized environment.
-Comply with all NCAA, Sun Belt Conference and UL-Lafayette rules, regulations and policies
-Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel for away contests or events as required.
