The Director of Video and Production will oversee technical video production and directing of all ESPN3, ESPN+, and other live video streaming events. Job responsibilities include preparing and executing game broadcasts and press conferences, maintaining and following all video regulations/processes set forth by the university,
ESPN
and the Southern Conference, scheduling and training of student staff, preparing documents for broadcast and sharing video content with necessary entities (i.e.:
NCAA
and Southern Conference). This position will oversee setting up all the video/audio gear needed for productions and broadcasts as well as the teardown and proper storage of all video equipment. Responsibilities also include researching and implementing facility and equipment upgrades, engineering system mapping and troubleshooting video/audio production equipment.

Knowledge of production switcher, graphics, replay and audio consoles.
Knowledge of networking and IP Addressing/Subnets.
Knowledge of Birddog
NDI
Encoders/Decoders.
Knowledge of audio routing using Audinate Dante.
Knowledge of fiber infrastructure.
Skill with Microsoft Office including word, excel, etc.
Skill with Adobe software including After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.
Bachelor’s degree in broadcasting, communications, or other related field at time of hire.
Two (2) years’ experience in college athletics video production (relevant Student Worker and Graduate Assistance experience may be considered).
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (including After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop).
Experience with videography and editing preferred.
Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, etc.).
